John Mostofi

Biography

John brings over 30 years of executive leadership and expertise in banking and financial services. Throughout his career, John has played a pivotal role in expanding capital deployment and strategic solutions for complex transactions, positioning him as a valuable addition as Armory continues to enhance its Merchant Banking and Investment Banking platform. Before joining Armory, John was Executive Vice President at Hilco Capital Solutions, where he led the team to support a range of complex investments. Prior to Hilco, he served as Executive Vice Chairman of Global Commercial Banking at Bank of America, focusing on asset-based lending, commercial credit, and relationship management across U.S. markets. His expertise also extends to corporate restructuring, regional strategy, and managing P&L for large financial service portfolios.

John earned a bachelor's degree in Public Accounting and an MBA in Finance from Loyola University in Chicago. He is also a CPA, and a member of the Commercial Finance Association, the Economic Club of Chicago, the Illinois CPA Society, the Association for Corporate Growth and the Executives’ Club of Chicago.
