Armory Securities, LLC is pleased to announce the sale of Mixon Farms, one of the largest blueberry production and packing platforms in the United States, to an agriculture investment fund. The transaction closed on April 2, 2026 and Armory served as exclusive advisor to the seller for the transaction.
Mixon Farms is a blueberry production and packing platform in the United States, operating across approximately 1,800 acres in southeast Georgia, and producing over 8 million pounds of blueberries annually. The farm’s vertically integrated operations support processing of up to 250,000 pounds of berries per day, with the majority of production sold into the fresh market.
The transaction included the owned real estate, the facilities, equipment and all other assets of the farm. Operations will continue to be supported by its institutional farm management platform and on-site leadership, led by Donald Mixon, a third-generation farmer.
Armory was engaged to explore a sale of the farm and conducted a comprehensive marketing process targeting nearly 100 financial sponsors and strategic buyers. Following extensive marketing, due diligence and negotiations with multiple interested parties, the seller, a state pension fund, ultimately selected a global agriculture investment management fund as the preferred purchaser. Armory assisted throughout the process, including the preparation of marketing materials, management of the data room, solicitation of interest, evaluation of proposals, and negotiation of the transaction terms.
