Matthew Lapish

Biography

Matthew has over 15 years of investment banking and restructuring experience. He has executed transactions on both the sell-side and buy-side, serving as both a financial advisor and a corporate development executive.

At Armory, Matthew works with middle-market clients across restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and capital structure optimization, advising companies across a diverse range of industries including manufacturing, industrial services and distribution, media, technology, and consumer goods.

Prior to joining Armory, Matthew served as a Managing Director at Ankura Capital Advisors, a middle-market investment bank focused on advising companies at moments of transition. Previously, he was a Director at Mackinac Partners, a boutique advisory firm specializing in turnaround and restructuring consulting. Earlier in his career, Matthew led Corporate Development activities at PennWell Corporation, a B2B media and information services company, where he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions and company-wide strategic initiatives. He began his career at BDO Capital Advisors and Banc of America.

Matthew holds an MBA from Babson College and a BA from Wittenberg University.
